2017 Moab Black Sheep April 16-21

Leaving Saturday morning from LA area, planning to stay overnight in Flagstaff area in the evening then be in Moab by late afternoon on Sunday.

I had my +1 drop out so I have a bunch of open seats when we're out on trails. Everything is running on the truck, just got to get the radio wired back up.

Well, i just had to cancel the hotel reservations. Im in Singapore on a business trip was suppose to go home today, but this trip got extended two weeks.

Maybe in the fall i will try to come out. The wife was really looking forward to this trip. We have been busy this whole year and have not gone any where as a family for too long.

Bummer! I just packaged up your shirts and am sending them to your house.

Well, I will very likely be bringing my rock sliders with me to Moab in the bed of the truck. My left shoulder is messed up so I can't really move it much. So, when I tried to install rock sliders this morning it got pretty sketchy trying to handle all that with just one arm, on a sloping driveway, using jack stands and a floor jack. Hopefully we will have a wrenching day at some point during the week

Lets knock the sliders out first thing sunday morning.They work a whole lot better under the truck then in the back :thumbs:

Speaking of sliders I got my new rocky roads. 7 years and mine are HAMMERED, bent and in need of help. They will have to wait till I get back. Will add gussets and additional mounting feet so I don't bend this next set.

I'm almost fully packed. Just gotta do some food shopping. I'm off to the Bay Area tomorrow then west Sacramento Thursday. Drive back to SoCal Thursday afternoon. Catch some sleep and leave at like 3am Friday. I will probably leave Moab early Thursday.

Got my radio working in the truck, swinging by Tustin Wednesday morning to get my fuel tank straps adjusted. Ever since the lift there's a slight rubbing when the tanks full and I make a hard right turn, it goes away after a few seconds but I'll get a extra set of hands on it and pick up a spare lift pump while I'm there. I'll be there from the 16 th and leaving on the 21st.

Were not bringing a wheeling rig this trip.Things have been a little crazy with work,buying a house out of state and Bebe monster not being ready.
Sooooo hopefully we'll be able to bum a seat or two

I'll be bringing my suit case welder,cordless impact and a few spare parts off of the old 5cyl out of Bebe's rig just in case:thumbs:

I'm bringing a 4 seat UTV (Teryx), and would love for bebe to meet erin and hang. You guys can mob that around the trails.

Well danm, our agency photographer went and tore his rotator cup.
So I'm headed to Kansas City then Saint Louis instead of Moab.
So my vacation has been delayed two weeks. That sucks!
Neo, I would like to stop by and visit the outpost but it's
going to be the first of May before I can get out there.
Damn I wanted to do trails with the Black Sheep Squadron.
Any chance there will be other stragglers?

Updated the attendee list with some that I didn't have on, and removed the ones that can't make it. Should remove Tbone but he has a way of showing up . . .
