HUMMER H3 SUV 2 Door....has it been done yet?

Please tell me there's a build thread or some photos/videos you can share of the process... Did you do all that yourself?

Here we go again...Lol! What is the passenger door switch light bulb style/# ?

I think Schwartzy sells them on his website. I bought a few a while back and replaced mine. Although I did the driver side lights, so it might not be the same bulb

    GVWR Question

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out what the official AM General/GM GVWR is. I've scoured google, but can only come up with answers from car review sites and the like. Every number I've found seems to be different, I'm not sure if that's between open tops, wagons, etc. Regardless, I'm...

HVAC Cabin Air Circulation Not Turning On

Unfortunately no, it seems to be the door that is stuck open and apparently the only way to get to it is to remove the entire dash. It's not worth the time or money to me right now to fix it or get it fixed. If you find another, easier solution, let me know though!

    Scotty's H3 Alpha Build

Thank you! I've loved the swap meet section too. Some things were next to impossible to find elsewhere, namely the OEM steps that attach to the factory sliders. Thanks on the switch, it was a hard decision since I used that tray quite a bit, in the end I think I can move past it for the setup haha

What did you do with your H3 recently? NEW

Thank you, the switches took a little bit of finese with trimming to get it exactly where I wanted. Slow and steady since I only had one shot haha. You're right about the reinforcement kit, I mixed up the name

What did you do with your H3 recently? NEW

Thank you, crazy it was that long ago! It's been good, hope you're doing well too. I need to get out west past Appalachia one of these days. I'd like to see that SAS in action in Moab!

    Scotty's H3 Alpha Build

Better late than never!!! Finally, after years of searching I have a Rancho lift on my H3. Took a while to get everything sorted between sourcing parts, vehicles, and just figuring out the overall final plan. About a year and a half ago Rascole hooked me up with H-D tie rods, a locking front...

    WTT H3 Extended Leaf Springs

Looking to trade some extended leaf springs for stock H3 ride height springs. They're probably an additional inch or two higher than OME leaf springs, so it's really only suitable for someone who has a Rancho Lift or SAS... I need stock (or close to stock) ride height to get this H3 back to a...

    Alpha Front Diff Questions

So I picked up an entire front diff/axle off of an Adventure packaged I5 from Rascole a while back. It's finally about to be installed, but I have a couple of things I want to verify before I accidentally tell my shop the wrong thing... I understand that Adventure packaged I5's come with a cast...

    Sleeping platform

Very nice set up. If I hadn't spend both arms and both legs on my canvas tent last year, this is something I'd be REALLY interested in doing. Especially because you don't have to remove the rear seats like a saw a lot of people doing years ago

Hummer H3 SPOD 4X4 Source LT 6 Rocker Auxiliary Switch System Install

That would be really cool if I could get some better shots and/or measurements. Unfortunately, I think I'll need this mount fabricated within a couple of weeks. H3 is getting sent off to a shop for just a little bit of work and the SPOD will need to be installed and ready for wiring up the front...

Hummer H3 SPOD 4X4 Source LT 6 Rocker Auxiliary Switch System Install

Thanks for the install/walkthrough video Acer! Any chance you'd be willing to make a second mounting plate? I just ordered an spod for my lockers and eventual lightbars, the mounting plate is the only thing I'm having issue with finding though. Obviously they don't make anything for the H3, but...

    Rancho Lift Questions

That really depends, to do an SAS with lockers 4speedfunk quoted mid to high teens at his shop a couple of years back. A custom fab shop near me quoted me 14k to do a custom IFS lift (not including locker installs). Whereas getting a Rancho kit, front and rear E-lockers, and then paying for a...

H3 Gobi Stealth Rack w LED Light Bar Set-Up Questions

I like the way you mounted the lights in front of the bar. I have the same rack and was looking at doing small individual lights on the actual mounting plate. I'd rather have it mounted in front like yours though so I could do a single bar. I'm thinking of a large bar in the "hybrid" setup (spot...

    Rancho Lift Questions

Good luck, took me about 4 years to find one I was actually able to get my hands on. My biggest regret with this vehicle is not buying a new Rancho when they were still selling them, opted for a Gobi rack and small vacation instead. Now it's cost me way more both in money and in headaches lol

    Rancho Lift Questions

I've replaced the shocks a couple times over the years, current set is only a year or two old (10-15k miles). Even knowing the offroad ride may be worse, I think I'd prefer a stiffer shock. Do you know what Fox shocks would pair well with a Rancho lift? I can't seem to find what the specs are...

    Rancho Lift Questions

No, but I have the OME leaf springs. They sit pretty high up. I've got more rake than stock, even with the torsion bars cranked up to the highest safe position
