2010 Adventure Edition

New here. My first car in 1995 was a 1974 CJ-5. Have always had a jeep since (CJ-8, CJ-7 and Wranglers). Hummer feels like an extension or close relative to my Jeep (AMC/AM GENERAL). It rides smoother and does exceptionally well off-road. My GF' booked a weekend at Matthew McConaugheys' Long Branch Ranch in Austin, TX. I started looking all over the states for this unicorn. It is a 2010 ADVENTURE Edition. We found it on Craigslist in San Antonio. Flew in, picked it up and headed up to the Ranch. We stopped in MOAB on our way back. It has 4:56 gears, lockers F+R, 4:1 t-case, off-road suspension, GM rock sliders and complete factory skids front to rear. One owner, clean carfax report and is rust free. The gentleman was in his late 50's and traded in his 2007 for this once he heard the brand was going bankrupt. Has 110k on the clock. All services up to date and all receipts from new. I replaced the shocks with FOX and did a complete brake job, radiator blew 2 days after getting home from our 25 hour drive. Cracked on upper drivers side. We got so lucky. There is a 4x4, snow mobile rec area right by the Bountiful "B" a few miles from me, I went and flex tested. Pretty impressive. Tons of rear travel, minimal in the front but it still so capable.

This is not a replacement for my 23' Diesel JL. It is a completely different experience on and off road. I love driving them both. The diesel has 460lb-tq and 240hp. It pulls. Both have 285's. The hummer is a slow moving tank that is fun to drive. I just plan passing people way ahead or don't pass often.

I am off next Wednesday and Sand Hollow is only a 4 hour drive. I will try to head down and meet with you guys.

Right on, thank you. We are heading to Moab this Friday with the Jeep if anyone is going to be down there. Don't know what trails we are running yet. Is anyone going to be in Moab over EJS?

Had the old tire size head debate going on. Decided on 285/75r17 FALKEN RT/01. Rides smooth and love the new Falkens.

Thank you! So stoked. I honestly like driving this more than my diesel JL. The 3700 is fine on I-15 @ 4200 feet, canyon passes like parleys summit, I am pinned in second doing 45. I cant stop smiling driving this little beast.
