Has anyone checked out the new ZR2 yet? I'm seriously considering getting one in a year or so.

I'm in the process of selling all my cars right now and just driving my work truck and my wife's minivan for a while. I was out of work for almost a year in 2020 during 'rona lockdowns and then I moved to Indiana and back to Texas in '21, which cost me a bit, so I'm trying to pay some things off and save up. That's why I'm selling all my hummer stuff and a few guns. But by February of '25 I should have it all paid off and I'll get a bonus and maybe get a ZR2. That will make it a lot easier to make it out to Moab trips and stuff. I'm sad about not being able to build my hummers like I wanted to, but I'm also getting tired of spending every weekend working on them. I don't think i would put a lift or anything on a ZR2, although I might have to stick with easier trails 😛

Don't need a lift if 35's can fit stock like to H3's could. Think of it as a new version of the H3T, just not as cool and 4 times the price. But they are very nice. I am coming up to a similar stage as you, thinking about letting my son have all the fun wrenching while I enjoy the 7 year warranty. Of course after dad spent all the money, he just fixes what we break.
