My daughter's boyfriend drives a 2005 Colorado with a 3.5L. I noticed the truck was sitting funny and the bed was pushed into the cab. I looked under it and the frame is completely rotted in two. It has what seems to be a good 3.5L with around 165K. His mom (truck's owner), plans to just take it to the scrapyard. Does anyone here have any interest, and would be willing to pay over scrap value? It's their only car and they don't really have it in their budget for a new car. I'm just trying to help out and make a crappy situation a little less crappy for them. Again, like the title says, it's not definitely for sale yet. I just wanted to see if there is any interest that I can pass along. Truck is located in Fort Wayne, IN.

I have someone close by me that has an 06 H3 with a blown motor for sale. It is in decent shape and I told him I will pay scrap value for it if it doesn't sell. I am doing a LS swap this summer and will have a good running 3.5 to drop in it, but if you are interested in it, that motor should be a drop in.
