I just noticed my AC isn't working. I'm probably doing something stupid because it think it work before. On the hot days weeks ago, the air out is somewhat cold. Today, it felt like ambient air. Does my 97 have 134a refrigerant? I checked the AC console and had it on MAX AC. It looks like there is a small light that should light up next to the AC switch. It isn't. See attached picture. My console doesn't look like the 97's shown in other pictures. I had the switch set for MAX AC, fan high, temp on cold, what am i missing? Is there something else that needs to be on?

Joe, It is the secondary HVAC unit under your rear console cover. You should have a couple of vents out of the rear console cover. There is a switch on the doghouse to turn it on.

Yep I see it now. Thanks!

BTW.... A/C Update.
Yep... It was the refrigerant.
Before: Outside Temp 65 F

Engine off
Low 48 PSI High 50 PSI

Engine on (clutch Engaged)
Low 1 PSI High 70 PSI RPM 1200

Add a Bunch of Refrigerant

Engine on
Low PSI 30 High 150 PSI RPM 1200

38 F Cooling at Vent

I think its better now.... It's cold air anyway.... That's a good thing!
TNX Guys!
