A great source for LEDs

I was doing a bit of research about my daily driver and found another LED vendor. I know they are almost a dime a dozen now and I've seen some crappy stuff out there. I've bought LEDs that didn't work out of the box, were shipped in plain poly bags stapled closed, etc. Many of them make it hard to place an order or jack you on the shipping.

This vendor seems to do it right: Diode Dynamics. While they don't really have listings for Hummers (Booooo, they need to fix this!) all or most of our bulbs are listed on their site when you go to "Bulbs by Size". I did an initial order for some interior bulbs for my DD and I'm pleased enough that I ordered the rest of the bulbs. After that I'll work on the exterior bulbs.

One really cool feature of their site: they have different strength bulbs available and their options are clear cut and easy to understand. You can elect bulbs that are slightly weaker than OEM, stronger, way stronger, etc. You don't need to guess what you need to put into your vehicle. If any of you have shopped eBay for LEDs, you know what I mean in that it's a guessing game if you're getting the right product. That issue is solved by Diode Dynamics.

Shipping (at least for the packages I've ordered) is a simple $5 USPS Priority Mail (overnight is available). They ship quickly so you have it in 3 days. I think that's a good deal. They allow local pickup in St. Louis, a feature many vendors don't offer.

Nice packaging here. Professional looking and well protected bulbs. I re-used the packaging to store my old bulbs in case I need them.

Here's a shot of the map lights, new one on the left (obviously) and old one on the right.

License plate lights here. Obviously I didn't get before/after but you can see the nice crisp light produced by these LEDs.

Alrock is into agriculture and grows his own "yierba"! Hence the plate.

Thanks for the review! We are really happy to be here as a vendor now, and I have spoken with our marketing team about having more Hummer products added to the site

Also, as of today we are now offering free shipping for all forum members. All you have to do is send me a PM before placing an order

Just replaced one headlight with an OEM bulb but I plan on going through the website and looking. H1 headlights are always a need.

I think we're going to have some fun confusion between H1 and H3 vehicles and light bulbs with the same designations. For example, the Hummer H3 takes an H13 while the H1 takes old school H6024 bulbs

We don't have any sealed-beam housing replacements yet, so no H6024's. But I'm hoping we can design a full-LED replacement in the very near future. The Jeeps use something similar IIRC?
