Today was a quick ride up Yankee Boy Basin. We tried to do Governor Basin as well but the road is being widened for mining equipment

More waterfalls.

Today started cold and rainy and stayed that way for a while. 45 degrees is a huge, and welcome, difference than the 108 of Phoenix.

We explored Poughkeepsie Gulch, Mineral Creek and California Pass. We didn't do the big obstacle on Poughkeepsie because, well, it's big and it was covered in slick mud.

Thanks for sharing. I bet it's hard to have to head back home to the real world after a trip like that

Great pictures! Every time I have been in that area Black Bear Pass is closed for snow. On a clear day Last Dollar Road has some of the best views Ive ever seen. We should plan a trip there next year in the late summer for the whole group.
