I have a 2008 H3 Alpha (original owner) and it has 108k miles. I'd like to run it for many years but would like to swap in an A6 trasmission.
Are there any reputable swaps that guys have factually used that do the swap start to finnish with good results?

Firstly I had to go and look it up. I'm still uncertain if your talking about an audi transmission or the Hyundai/ Kia transmission family?
I have zero to offer either way. This is a swap I have zero no how on or with. Good luck. And keep us updated if you do it.

No. Perhaps consider contacting the shop in that link that offers the swap kits and see if they know of anyone.

I was looking for a review of shops and kits to put in a 6L80 into an H3 alpha. If no one here has done the swap and lived with it, it defeats to purpose of looking for a review. Asking a biased kit manufacturer also bypasses getting an unbiased review. Someone has done it and lived with it.

Well, Now that I know its the 6L80E I can better see the swap anyhow lol. I kept thinking how the h@ll would he fit and Kia or Audi trans lol.
There are threads + YouTube videos covering the gist of this. I guess you could at least have some insight to how it should be/could be done. You know you could do a Monster in A Box kind of kit for a extra strong 4LE upgrade. I Know that you can really build upon these trans. There basically a 700R but pussified a bit.

I think you really just want to argue. You knew exactly what was meant by 'A6' transmission. To be honest, I'm not interested. It's boring.

I'm asking if anyone has first hand experience with a shop that factually did installs of a 6L80 into a Hummer H3. I'm not interested in doing it myself although I'm full capable. There are exactly zero threads or youtube videos with that information. I see videos of it having been done but it doesn't tell you who did the install. If some guy did it to his own truck, that is not what I asked in post one. I didn't ask about built 4 speeds.

There have been a grand total of about 5-ish, maybe more, people who have done 6 speeds swaps, and each one has been uniquely its own.
As to your question, no there is no "go to shop" that does a 6 speed swap for the h3.

Nope not arguing or pick any fight lol! You asked a question that I didn't fully understand. I tried to see it being done but couldn't.
As far as a 4L60e they are quite capable out the box. With the right upgrades and know how they have been successfully used in Jeep TJ, XJ and others.
If you are capable of doing a swap for your self then there really was zero need to ask the question in the first place. Albeit I do understand why you asked it.
I pretty much do all my own stuff with the H3 because very few if any competent vendors even understand the Hummer brand. The place that sold it to me in 2011 tried to open the hood at the windshield.

Please do remember that not all of us on the board understand every last thing and that some of us just might not be fool'n around or picking at ya just because you didn't get the answer the 1st or even 3rd time.

H@ll I can do all kinds of stuff with these vehicles but the trans is one thing I've been content, happy with just as it is.

I would really like to do a new diesel out the box type swap with the 4L60e (monster build) and all stand alone programing. Will I?

I know there are a few people here on the forum who are very well versused with this type of swap and probably could help you get started.
