Tried to use the H3 as a frame for this shot, wish i would have brought my real camera... left the camera bag right by the door of course... DERRRR....

First obstacle, spring creek.

Amazingly... there wasn't a SCRATCH from this... he came to a slamming stop, barely touched it & came to rest 1/2" from the rock...

3 10mm bolts, one lever on the wiring that's obviously intended to be removed, and lift them off like a jeep door (but WAY heavier :D)

doing both fronts is about 3 minutes max, the rear is even easier. I take them off pretty much every time I go out unless it's going to be REALLY dusty or a long drive.

Definitely glad we went, met cool folks, had fun, and got one more wheeling bud around here!

we actually only did the 1st feature on spring creek.

We went up trail creek, then down turkey gulch, then up blue ridge rd, cut across a connector, then dorked around below the 2nd obstacle at SC, then went down & just did a quick lap on #1.

We got our variety in... I was trying to give AJ the "clear creek sampler" :D

As always, it was super fun, learned some new trails and had a great time. Awesome pics Kaleb. Even though mine are nothing compared to yours i'll get them up shortly.

Alright - THAT'S IT - next Summer you are coming out to Wheel with me, your choice Rubicon or Fordyce. Bring the Baby - I have girls who can take care of him.

The Rubicon is on my bucket list. :) It's a little far, but maybe soon... how would the rubicon be for 4 and 6 year olds? :) (Mine are 3 and 5 this year....)

Well... got home, had a shower... then got the call.

Reaper lost 4L out at the lake, had to go get him!

He got someone else to help yank him up from the lake, then I met him on the trail & transferred wife & kids into my truck, got him down to town... then the guy who got him out of the lake was broken down there!!!

Both just left my house, running & headed home!

And they bought me some ICE CREAM!!!! So it was a good day!

Kinda funny... I've got more flex than this built up TJ on 35's... we took the same line & my tire barely left the ground.

Flex isn't over-rated:wink:

Nice, is it more flex our wheel base that made the difference?

Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

Wheelbase might make a difference... but the disco that was with us made that thing look scary as he!!... and he's similar to me I'd think?

Looking at his flex, compared to mine on the rock above... I'm getting about 1.5-2' more than him right now. Not sure why, he's got a well built rig, but it takes too much pressure for him to articulate well. I'd assume his springs are too stiff for his vehicle weight. I've seen his flex more than that, but it's like my front, it has to be going downhill with weight on it to get to full stuff.
