I had a great time at Wheelers for the Wounded and our H4O gathering before that. I'd like to see if we could get another group together to go to HFAP this summer sometime in June or July, what do y'all think?

you don't think that's going to be too hot? I should be able to do July, but that's going to be full-on broil at that time of year.

June is out for me I have my oldest daughter and grand kids in from Hawaii and I will be with them. July is fine but I am looking at a Bridgeport and east Texas event at Barnwell mountain. There has already been more than one event at HFAP this year. Everyone can do what works for them but I want to also get people involved from North Texas Oklahoma and Louisiana.

That's what Chris just did! ;) Although I bet a trip out to K2 would draw quite a few folks from outside the state lines. Trees would be a little more hard-core.

I would love to take a trip to Barnwell if you're game in July. Be even happier if you could convince Calamitygirl to tag along.

I am down for wheeling all year round. What's a little heat when you already live in Texas?!

Run an H3 on a hard trail in 100+ temps and you'll find that constantly having to open the hood to cool it off is a PITA.

I have run in the summers of Texas a lot and all day and never had to open the hood and I have never over heated. I guess each vehicle is different

I wish mine ran cool like that, thats why I cut the hood and added vents.
