It’s been a minute since I’ve been active. But…..
Just picked up a 01 and have a question about deflating CTIS. CTIS inflates with no problem but I can’t get it to deflate. I hear clicking but nothing.

Could be a bad switch or sometimes the valves get stuck when they get dirt/sand in them. They can get stuck in either position. One reason the military wasn't big on CTIS. The system is different from the older models. You have a different CTIS module than I have. I believe yours has an emergency release valve at the main control module under the hood. You should be able to pull it out and release pressure in the system.

Thank you Dave. When I get some time I will pull the valves and clean them out as well as test the switch. I wasn’t for sure if there was a go to spot to check first.

One other possibility (I experienced this) *might* be if you have runflat inserts in your wheels. It is possible to install those incorrectly so they get in the way of air getting in to the tire and also out. A symptom of this, would be VERY high pressures on the CTIS gauge when you inflate using the CTIS pump, with the pressure then returning to normal kinda slowly when the pump stops.
