Well this just sucks...
I get home from business today and there is a package waiting with the supposed correct door check for an 07 Hummer H3. I mean it is listed as the correct part on multiple sites. Also, checked it with other forum members b4 ordering this one. Part # 15929237

Of course after all the leg work to order the damn thing, it is completely incorrect. UGh! Damn damn damn! Lol!
The correct part is Hummer H3 Part# 434 (02207B)

Like in the pic below... But good luck finding this damn thing because they are like hens teeth. Mean while my door is without the door check so I can now not drive the truck at all.

Ebay lists 435 rear door checks used but that isn't it. That will not work. Is the 434 (02207B) part got another part number?
Can it still be bought brand new? WTF!! I'm quickly growing pissed off at Hummer/GM for just abandoning these vehicles... It gets worse every year!

And by the way I know the pic above links to a used ebay part... I'm asking if anyone knows how to get the part new? Or maybe a different vendor part that will work?

Have you held them side by side and compared mounting points? Sometimes parts can change but their function is the same, so it may look different and have the same part number.

Blew its self up lol.
Might need to change your screen name to Unhappy Hummer! 😂

I have not looked close, but could a new hole be drilled in the door frame to fit the Gen2 door stop?

Have you thought of modifying what you have and use a cable vs the metal rod? With VW bugs when you do a 1 piece window (eliminating the wing window) you use a cable as the stock metal will hit the window when rolled down.

I’m thinking you should be able to build something to replace the broken parts.

What year is your h3? Looks like the rear door check is listed as 15286625 for the very first h3s build in 2005 and 15929238 for all h3s and h3ts built after that.

Actually, the front door 1st run (1st year) is a 434 (02207B) and rear was a 435 (Pas or Drv). They look just like the image above but with a different overall arm.
The 2nd run ( is a 15929237 (15286624 they say this is a 1st run but it is indeed a 2nd run) front door (Pas or Drv) The 2nd run 15286625 (15929238) rear (Pas or Drv)

Lol! Why the h@ll do they need so many different part #? Because it is really just the same part with the wrong bolt pattern spacing! A 434 & 435 are the only bolt pattern I've found that use a 1 3/4" bolt to bolt spacing.
Of course they probably have yet another part out there (d@mn GM) that has the exact spacing but I don't know what it is.

When did the runs change? I went out and checked my 2008 and while it doesn't have the metal strap but a composite one instead, the bolt pattern is still 1 3/4".
