Hello,

I just purchased a 2003 Hummer H2. I'm starting to upgrade my interior to give it a modern look. Besides changing out seats, carpet/headliner, I've decided to tackle the instrument cluster. Nothing wrong with having analog gauges I just prefer the digital look I've been accustomed to over the years. Spent sometime searching online and see no one has a plug and play solution to fill the current instrument cluster spot. I've decided to develop my own and would like feedback from the community with my current UI iteration. Let me know what you would add or take away?

I've added all the current gauges from the stock instrument cluster. I'm looking to add a gyroscope to get pitch/row when off roading. Have to tap into the TCM to get trans temperature info and add a rear view camera into it. I look forward to the feedback from the community.

I’m glad to see there’s still interest in this platform, especially since its been 10 years since it died (same came be said for most defunct brands, Saab?)

I think it looks great though I’m unclear if this would be a complete dash replacement or a screen in addition to the existing dash?

Also, if you are attempting to modernize the interior I would love to take a peak at what you’re doing to replace the paper machè door panels

right now the only focus is the display/cluster. You should contact your local audio shop to help you with custom door panels.

My friend would like this idea H2 display upgrade! We'll work on his new H2 project after mounting the rotors and fuel wheels on the Ram this weekend. Hope you can update us here.

I personally would lower the top speed to 120 and make everything else bigger . No need for 120-160

It would be cool but I am guessing this was just another one man operation over promising a product that is highly complicated nature and requires a lot of fine details to get right. Its been 2 years since he made this post and we don't even have a working prototype. Just checked his instagram he hasn't posted since Jan 1st of 2023. Pretty sure this isn't happening.
