The wife and I are driving from Illinois to northern NM for a week in January.
Driving the H3.
We are looking to relocate.
Anyone want to suggest a place to check out.
Any events going on?

Dan

Haven't been that many places in NM. Santa Fe is kind of a fun, quirky place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

Hey Dan! Good to hear from you. How was Alaska? NM sounds great I'm sure my wife would want to move there as well, I'll check and see what places she is familiar with. Hope to wheel with you again soon.

How about SD instead of NM? It can get lonely here at times. If you want to come down north northeast, we can always go wheeling:thumbs:

My mom and I lived in Angel Fire, NM for years. Its a ski resort in the winter, and a golf resort during the summer. yet still a small town to get away from everything, but still within a close driving distance to have major places and dining around you! i would highly recommend it!!!!!!

Sorry dude no input on NM. I know the south part is desert plains and for myself, I kindof like my trees. I love AK but doubt the Coast Guard will send us back so my next hope is TX on our next move

There seem to be 2 flavors of this:

58" L, 2 1/2" Black Steel-Reinforced Fender-Lip-Mount Extensions, Set of 4 (or roll) - http://www.jcwhitney.com/rubber-fender-extensions-fender-flares/p2008750.jcwx?filterid=d50401y2002j1#

or

58" L, 4-1/2" Black Heavy-duty/Extra-wide Fender Extensions, 1-pair (or roll?) - http://www.jcwhitney.com/rubber-fen...ares/p2008750.jcwx?skuId=142818&filterid=u0j1

I'm thinking the 4 1/2" one-- is that right? One is lip-mount, the other is not... which are you running?

I just bought: 58" L, 4-1/2" Black Heavy-duty/Extra-wide Fender Extensions, 2 pairs: Item Number: 017683.

When they come, if they work I'll throw a post in the h3 section. Thanks other Dan! :)
