Try running a wire with a diode inline from one of the high beams to the fog light switch. And be sure that the switch is on the hot side and is not a ground return of sorts, since I'm without a schematic here.
And while you're at it, keep things heavy by using #12awg wire and a 20amp diode.

They are counterproductive for highway driving. You'd only want one or the other on. BUT... if you are looking for daylight at night, adding a couple of LED pods that output five times the light on a dedicated switch is better.

Agreed, but not the OP's question.
Speaking of the OP and like so many others, they appear on the forums with a question and for then not seen or heard from again, even though someone might have spent some time on it, for them.

Telling the OP that running a random diode without an attached wiring diagram will be more damaging. To minimize cutting and splicing factory wiring harness, run a set of LED pods for minimal cost and damage to factory components.

I didn't suggest or condone that he do such without his asking. As for the practice of such, if warranted and like for anything else, if it's not in your realm of professionality, then find someone other.
I wasn't necessarily saying that he had to personally do the work anyway, so not about to go in to a lot of detail, unless he came back with some interest in doing so. I mean if I said you required an engine rebuild, that wouldn't automatically say that you had to do it yourself.
Anyway, no biggie, so.....Peace!
