Green Keys--do stock shocks need spacers?

I ordered green keys for the deuce, PN 15592573, hope that's the right ones?

Do I need spacers under the factory shocks like the H3 uses for t-bar crank or will my shocks be ok? I only plan on going up max. 1-1/2"

I figure what the hell, I've got to order new tie rods, idler & pitman, might as well go up a little since it's got to be aligned anyway.

Thanks----

Apparently it's strongly suggested to use a set of Cognito upper control arms in conjunction with the green keys or the geometry is not ideal---sooooo I'm scrapping the key idea for now as new UCA's are def not in budget.
I guess I can crank the torsion bars a little bit, I'm looking for 1", maybe less, without too much drama.

Where is your info from? Have out the green keys in and no issue on 2's. I'm running them no crank but have Cognito uppers

What is the difference between adding the green keys and cranking the tbars? The green keys just reindex where they sit. When I put the greenies in I did not crank them. Brought the front level after adding the extra weight with bumper and winch. Will talk to a guy I know tomorrow about it. Have sold him a bunch of green keys over the years.

I shoulda bookmarked that other post but thought it was something about the green ones enabling you to go higher than t-bar crank and that's where you get into weird the geometry

If I turn this question backwards, why would you do green keys if you can just crank?

Green keys reindex the tbar. You can crank higher from there. I wouldn't but people do

I did some Google searching for H2 leveling kit info and came across a really informative post started way back in 2007 by an H2 owner who took some really good pictures and the thread morphed into an 11 page Conito UCA/Green key/front end parts topic that should be mandatory reading for H2 owners wanting to do anything with their H2's front end.

I'm thinking to get Alrocks ok to post the link as it's probably the only civil thread I've ever encountered that focused almost soley on the topic at hand for the entire discussion.

If you guys want the link send me a PM and I'll shoot it to you. I didn't realize it's been that long since I did my first Moab trip and met some of you old timers--TomP was giving some good input into this discussion back in '07.

I can now say I'm way more educated on what works and how it works when you lift the H2 front end--I really wish somebody had come up with this kind of solution for leveling the H3; I'm not sure if Cognito UCA's could have been developed and work the same way on the 3, but that would have been worlds better that what we've been doing on them.

The question I've still got that's not been answered is what about the lower control arm? Seems all the work has focused on making the upper control arm play nice in the suspension; is the lower control arm and ball joint happy with these changes? I'm thinking it must be as I've never seen any discussion on problems with LCA's.
