Hey everyone...
Im new and have posted a couple questions on existing H2 forum threads in hopes to get some much needed advice.
Ive had my 2003 H2 since 2002 and even though I am so in love with her (my "BadHumvee" was the 1st car I bought & paid off on my own...and I had wanted a Hummer since I was a teenager), I have neglected her the last few years due to lack of funds and now I am contemplating selling her as I cannot afford the constant repairs a 14 year old car needs.
That being said, I need to fix a few things before putting her on the market. The rust issue has been the root cause of most my major repairs. Ive replaced gas lines, brake lines, steering mechanisms, etc, etc ...and now I have a friend fixing the rusting back fender and side steps.
I however need to fix some other things and am hoping some of you guys can give this girl some experienced advice, as the dealer is just looking to rip me off and they dont bother to answer my questions as to EXACTLY what is wrong with the vehicle.
A few things you will see me post about, is my exhaust (there is a bad leak that has gotten worse and may be a cracked manifold), my liftgate wont open (might be the actuator but I need you guys to tell me where and how I could buy and change it myself), my passenger floor is now found soaked with water ( draining in from somewhere).....
and a few other minor little things that I hopefully can get by not fixing just to sell it (like rearview mirrors not folding in anymore, etc).
WHHHHHHEW... writing all those issues and knowing that its just the major ones, sounds really bad - but really, my truck is so awesome and I feel bad that I dont have the means to keep her forever. The rust however is going to be an ongoing cancer that will make me go broke while slowly killing my H2.

can you guys help me out with the exhaust and liftgate to start? Or any of the other issues.... pLEEEEASE?
The threads ive read so far have been very impressive.
I must admit (and please dont take this in a negative or sexist way), after reading the informative threads, I said to my mother
"WHY ARE THERE NO INTELLIGENT, HANDY HUMMER GUYS AROUND HERE LIKE THESE GUYS ON THIS FORUM?!?!!!!! "
