I have not been on the forum in some time. Reason being is my life has taken a bit of a direction change. I am no longer working and have taken on school full time to reach a goal of entering a new career. I am letting the H3 go and hope to buy a Jeep Cherokee that I can own for a trail rig. Everyone who I have met on this forum and the trail, it has been a pleasure. Maybe we can meet up on a trail run again if I've got a trail rig. It's been fun!

Also, anyone who might need new tires... Take a look in the classifieds. I've got a great setup posted in there.

Cherokee is a good cheap DD and wheeling rig. You really need to life them and add bigger tires to make them offroad capable, but still a ton cheaper than an H3. I wheeled one for years - other than being smaller and a bit less refined, I only have good things to say about them. Try to find one with the 8.25 rear, and definitely get a 4.0.

I had a Cherokee for awhile. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. Everything but the cigarette lighter on that thing quit working at some point. Bought it new and traded it in less than a year later. I am sure my experience was not normal but it sure left a bad impression for awhile.

Do what u got to do and good luck with school. Jeeps Cherokee are great, my brother own one for many years and ran like a champ and went up every trail we ever hit. I would get an earlier 90s version with a highoutput 4.0 engine. I am not sure why but 95 and up didn't come out good.

PNW, good luck.

It aint always easy but sometimes you have to make sacrifices in the "here and now" to reap future rewards.

Sounds like you have an end game......and that is more than most.

Happy trails.

Nooo Tedge! Say it ain't so! Man, your H3 is boss. I know you're going to miss it. Sorry you have to get rid of it but stuff happens, and you gotta do what you gotta do. But Cherokees are really cool! Hope you find one you really like. Hope to see you on the trails again real soon. With your new Jeep! :) Oh, and have fun in school!

Best of luck with school etc, don't be a stranger. We like to hear from all our members from time to time, regardless which vehicle you may or may not own.

I will miss I'm sure. When time allows for it ill get another one and it will probably be an Alpha. I did get a jeep that is going to be a great base for my build. It's going to take a few months to get done with school and finances. When I do get it done I will definitely have to join up on the trails again with you.

I just sold mine too. I needed to a vehicle into cash for other reasons but I will just miss this truck. Maybe one day I'll buy another that's already built up ready to go. I intend to monitor the forum for fun events.
