Considering buying an H3. Have questions about buying a vehicle like this used. anything specific I should look for? Also, what are the annual maintenance costs like for these vehicles? I'd like to know be prepared when I go in and sign the paperwork.. thanks in advance for any info you would like to share with me.

Welcome to H4O Randy. Have a dealer run the VIN for you. That will show you what all was done under warranty. If you can verify maintenance is current that is a plus. 06 and some early 07 models had a head issue.if looking at those make sure that repair has been made. If you want to Offroad or maximize resale value get a truck with the Offroad/Adventure package option. That gets you the rear locker and 4:1 transfer case. Good luck with your search.

Thanks for the fast response. One of the models I'm looking at is an 08 H3 Alpha.
Can any Chevrolet Dealership check the VIN?

Should be able to. If not Zach or hummech on this forum can run them. I have an 08 Alpha and it has been a great truck. Have over 100K on it and going strong.

Welcome from Co. If you buy...If you can get 4:1 Tcase an rear locker at a good price, Do it. You will want at least one of them, really both. Both are on mine but, still wheelin w/ my 06 base modded an happy w./ my rig and what it can do...
