Hey everyone! I posted a new video on my YouTube channel installing a SPOD Aux switch system. I also took some pictures of the install. I know there is many, many different ways to go about doing this and there are different brands to choose from, but this video covers how all these systems work in concept. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks for the install/walkthrough video Acer! Any chance you'd be willing to make a second mounting plate?

I just ordered an spod for my lockers and eventual lightbars, the mounting plate is the only thing I'm having issue with finding though. Obviously they don't make anything for the H3, but "universal" mounting plates are near impossible to find and the ones I have found seem like they won't work for the H3. Maybe I can find a metal fab shop near me that could do it as a last resort... besides a metric ton of duct tape and zip ties lol

That's a good looking install. You'd think it was factory. But I've had a question ever since I first saw your video. Is there any vibration or interior chatter in the console from routing out the corner of the bracket post?

I haven't had any problem with that actually. The shifter cover piece still stays in place very nicely even though I had to remove one of the clips that was holding it in place. No vibration noise or anything of the sort.

Glad it was helpful. I could definitely upload some more pics of what the mount looks like if that helps. If I had more time, I would be willing to make a second mount, but I really only have basic fabrication tools and it takes me really long to make these custom mounts.

If you are able to draw up the dimensions I might be able to help if this is something you are interested in doing.

Shoot me a DM, I am just in the process of gaining access to a giant Makerspace at my work (I work at a University) and I might be able to do a run of parts once all of the training is out of the way (They are very strict with safety training on each tool and it takes forever to get through it all)

That would be really cool if I could get some better shots and/or measurements. Unfortunately, I think I'll need this mount fabricated within a couple of weeks. H3 is getting sent off to a shop for just a little bit of work and the SPOD will need to be installed and ready for wiring up the front and rear lockers. Thanks for the lookout RamRod!
