Looks like fun! But I bet if you came out to Moab that one of the Bros wouldn't charge you more than $200 for four hours in a passenger seat :giggle:

In Moab I got a ride from LagunaH1 for free, some guy named Alrock. Great time and the other free ride. O6 H3. That got tippy. Seems to always be a FREE seat in Moab. And not to mention, an awesome group

I've been by their place, its a couple miles from my house, the track is pretty decent, but you can only ride or drive one of their rigs, no personal vehicles on the track/trails. A buddy of mine is friends with the owner, so we are going to visit them in a few weeks to see how they are doing. They just opened up for official business this year.

The trouble for me is why go pay to ride with them or drive one of their rigs when you can drive an hour north to Ocala and hit the pits and run what ya brung so to speak.

Talk about Hummer tax! Obviously a pitch at the Disney tourism crowd. I guess if you can pay $6 for a large Coke at Disney World...then you can afford $200 for a shot-gun seat in an H1.

Anything to shut the kids up.

As a Floridian, I think it's tacky and insulting.
Hit up the dumb Tourists I guess ....
It's most likely a bunch of good ol boys wheelin' on days off, and trying to make some $ also.

Lots of free H1 seats in Moab on some of the best trails anywhere. I guess for a novelty deal for someone outside the Hummer world it could be a cool deal.

I think everyone here is missing the point. Not one of us would pay $200 to ride in an H1. Just like 4speed said-- it's for the Disney crowd. Compared to a lot of the other stuff you can waste your money on in Orlando, I think it's pretty cool for what it is.

You'd be surprised what tourist will pay for, especially the ones coming from overseas. There is another ride along off road experience down the road from them, less than a couple miles and they do quite well with people paying to ride shotgun or drive one of their jeeps, utv's, or 4 wheelers. Its called Revolution Offroad. http://www.revolutionoffroad.com

Maybe I should be charging people to come ride along with me.

HA, that's funny.
I know alot of guys that will pay WAAAYYYYY more than $200 to ride in an H1. Actually, alot of them are on here. A few of them have paid over $100K to ride in them, some of the cheaper guys will only pay $30K or $40K to ride. Either way, that's ALOT of $200 rides when you think about it!

I guess the glass can be half full or half empty when you think about it...........

Right on David.

Hang on to them a little longer if you can... I would really love to get back down to Moab. Maybe this is the year. Oldest son is joining the Marines and I'll have to attend his graduation, youngest son's hockey team is in contention for the state championship this year, and my youngest daughter's dance team has her all over the western states.

I got somehow talked into and obligated to participate on a team competing in the Spartan Race (Beast) at Soldier Hollow in late June. It's a half marathon trail run - up and down two mountains, with 28 obstacles (with penalties for failure).

I've been working out at some crazy crossfit box in preparation. (I'm thinking that I'm getting a little old for this ****)

Been working on too much lately to spend much time in any one place... I still read here quite a bit, but haven't posted much lately.

Flare spares are yours. Some of the pieces are too big/ weird shaped to ship. I hit the gym 4-5 times a week but some of those cross fit people are nuts. One of the guys I work out with does Iron Man and Ultra Marathons. He is totally nuts and no my old ass can't keep up with him but he pushes me a lot harder than I would push myself so I tolerate him.:)
