Hummers galore!!

SOOO a year or so ago...right before hummer was thrown into the lion's pit....avis rental car agency bought about 850 H3s from GM. Does anyone know what happened to these? what trim they were(base, alpha, adv, lux?) because thats alot of hummers and the last time i was at avis i didnt see any. Here a link to an article that hummerguy.net did. It would just be nice to know what happened to all of these.

Auto auctions is my guess, so they will start showing up at dealers. The dealer were I purchased my H3, sells a ton of just off lease and rental cars.

one of the dealers near me has one....it's a white alpha. They are asking way to much for it. Only has 7K miles though

I cant really tell you how many of each, ,but many came in alpha with trim adventure, deLuxe, nav / no nav. Weil Hummer Cadillac in Chicago had a slew of them back in feb - march 2011 over 15 of them. That is where mine came from, My alpha was put in service by Avis nov 2010, had 9000miles on it and bought it in march 2011 for 35k, if im not wrong they were 2 adventure in the stock Weil had at that time. Weil didnt have any I5 in stock then. Only alpha's in different trim and color

Avis also ordered a bunch on H3T Alpha and I5.

Love my H, its was my 3rd one and i dont regret it a bit.
