Fall wouldn’t feel right without a trip to AOAA, and this year’s run didn’t disappoint. The Hummer Club was out there from October 9–12, and the weather was about as good as it gets. Cool air, dry trails, and just enough color in the trees to remind you it’s that time of year again.AOAA has become one of the club’s favorite spots for a reason. It’s set in the hills of Pennsylvania coal country and offers a little bit of everything, from tight wooded trails to rocky climbs and open ridge sections with great views. It’s the kind of terrain that really lets a Hummer do what it was built to do.We had 13 rigs total this time around. The group split up into two runs: one intermediate group with H1s, H3s, and a Humvee, and another made up of solid-axle-swapped H3s and H2s that went after the tougher lines. Both groups covered a lot of ground and found plenty of challenges to keep things interesting. All in all, it was a solid weekend with good people, good trails, and a great way to kick off the fall season.
