... then I made the mistake of learning a bit about them.
Long story short is there is a 2010 H3T adventure on the way here right now by train, and I couldn't be happier. Just joined and have a lot of reading to do. :) more will be revealed

Still waiting ... :(
I'll be waiting some more too. It's going to need a new windshield before I can have it inspected and registered in this province. A few rusty bits need cleaning up as well.
My only worry is what might be under the rear fenders, but if that passes, the rest is easy cosmetics.

Tomorrow is delivery day, finally I have a chance to get down and pick it up.
I also have a windshield appointment, and a couple of ferry trips to get it back home. Gotta clean up this rust before inspection and registration.

Here's my little truck that the 'T' is supposed to be the replacement for, but if I can swing it I might try and keep it.for firewood and heavier wheeling.

Finally flew down to pick this thing up. Because of the 2 ferry trips and drive the schedule was so tight that i didn't really even have a minute to take a good look , but just jump in and go. It was/is exactly as i had expected and handled surprisingly good on the twisty coastal ride home. Not a powerhouse, but certainly did the job more than adequately when a little throttle is applied. My one and only complaint is the stock stereo wont seem to let me play music from the phone - just calls. i never call and always play music, so I'll have to look into that.

I'll make a build thread once I can drive it legally.
Tomorrow is inspection day so I've been cleaning up surface rust.
There's an aftermarket winch bumper that was totally covered in rust. The grille guard needs a bit of work too, so im leaving that off for now, but not for long because I like it's looks better when it's on. Mechanically I cannot find a thing wrong other than a brake light out.

My comanche is a bit like this. Super-utilitarian, but the lines and styling are so sweet that I always turn back to look when walking away.

Nice truck. Enjoy. There are performance mods to improve throttle response.

About the playing music from your phone to the Stock Radio. You bought a near 14 year old truck. ;)

I'm telling people that I'm fixing up this rusty old truck that i got from Alberta. Eventually I'm going to have to address the actual rust - that's under the rear flairs. Also the rear locker didn't seem to stay locked, but was in and out, when i was checking it out on a sand hill. I know very little about these, but will be looking into it.

Factory Lockers can only be used with T Case in Lo Lock and under 40MPH. Take a READ through the Owner's Manual for the particulars. If you do not have the Manual in the truck, they are all on line free.

Enjoy!
