Is it just me, or every time I'm in a rush my soon to be wife is dragging ass. I'm always early but every time I need to be someplace I'm always waiting for her

...or just listen to Brad Paisley's song "Waiting on a Woman". It will explain and make it all make sense! ;)

I say don't marry her then. ;)

ha kidding, sort of. Obviously the ideal wife would be one who can sense you're in a hurry and respect that and do what it takes to not be late. But I also can't picture anyone who has married an ideal wife. I just have relationship issues anyways; I'm always looking over the fence and comparing my relationships to other's.

Trust me, I have an ideal wife. Marriage isn't for everyone but it is for some. The tough part is figuring out for yourself which group you fall into.

O man. She drives me nuts. But I couldn't imagine her not being there. She's is a "you can't rush this" kinda chick. Lol I was soo fricken pissed at her for making me late earlier and then the rain ruined our mountain biking plans and she blamed me for that. So basically we are two pees in a pod.

That damn song says it all

If you want to be on time.... Get divourced or stay single.
Lying will help too. Until they figure it out. Then you will never live it down.

little trick ive learned that might help you out, say you need to be at a place at 2:30, tell her you need to be there by 1:45 (give or take, depending on her average time of tardiness). It works pretty much everytime!

My wife used to be the same way...until I start leaving her behind because she failed to meet the time frame...and only thing she hated more than me rushing her, was she rushing herself and failing the time frame and being left behind...but if I learn anything from the military was never to miss a time line...chopper and trucks don't wait around lol.

I've been married to the same woman for 40 years. She was 17, I was 19 when we got married. I really didn't get it until I had a daughter. Then I figured it out. Now I'm waiting on women.

I actually left my wife at the house one Sunday morning, got tired of waiting on her to make us late for church, again. I was raised Catholic and learned you never walk down the aisle with the priest.

Oh, and Brad Paisley can kiss my ass with that "waitin' on a woman" song, there ain't a damn thing romantic about a woman that can't get her **** together.

Yeah, that's a lifetime of Catholic and military experience.

I've never missed a flight by being early............

If you dont like it you can always switch sides. Then your significant other will get ready as fast as you lol

My wife usually takes a around 1.5 hrs to get ready. I just make sure she knows what time we have to leave the house by.

rofl, good point dude.

my ex couldn't get out of bed for the end of the world. i used to leave her all the time. if I waited on her then she'd get mad at me (and, theoretically, herself, but mostly me) for missing whatever it was we missed. If I left her, then she'd just be mad at herself (and I wouldn't have to deal with her).

my current wife takes approximately 2 hours to get ready to go anywhere, even her job cleaning houses. I used to tell her to skip the shower and makeup. who cares? you're going to get covered in crap anyways. same thing with makeup. i know what she looks like when she's pretty. i'll just use my memory. now let's go!!!
