Leaf spring brackets hitting frame

Hey guys, I've had a bad clunking noise from the rear when going over uneven surfaces for quite some time now. I've replaced my rear sway bar bushings/sway bar links thinking that would solve the issue but did not. I've narrowed it down to my leaf spring brackets hitting the frame and or bad bushings. Question, will the extended brackets (Swartsttzy) solve this issue or just new bushings? I've noticed some w/ Ranchos have extended brackets and some do not. Thanks for your time and help.

Yea those bushing are shot, replace them and that should resolve you're issues. You might as well replace the ones in the leaf spring pack itself as well while you're at it.

Those bushings are way beyond their service life. I generally replace if they begin to dry out with some cracking.

As you can see, you cannot see the bushing dryness or cracking in your photo. Simply because a bushing no longer exists.

Replace the bushing and I recommend doing both (total of 4 for both sides). While you’re at it, wire wheel the area and give it a fresh coat of paint. There’s been a few h3’s that have been failing due to rust in that area of the frame.
