Welcome to HUMMER 4x4 Off Road. 2003-2004 seems to be more rare in the classifieds. Where are you located?

Only 382 civilian models were built in 2003 and 252 in 2004 so they aren't the easiest model years to find. There were 112 Border patrol trucks built in 2003 and many of them have been sold back into the civilian market.

I am located near St Louis Missouri. I really like the interior of the 2004 but i am finding out it is near impossible to buy one for $50k. I would even take one that had over 75k miles and I dont mind paying to get one transported to me. This would be the first Hummer. I have had Land Rovers but I have always wanted a H1. I have driven H1s an have always liked them.

Thanks, the cheapest one I have seen for a 2004 is $60k and it had 65k miles on it. I have been looking everywhere. I have found a few 2002s that are in nice shape for the $50k price tag. There is a 2003 Open Top that just came up for sale that looks really nice but the guy wants $69k for it. I really want a 2004 but how it is looking I might have to get a 2002.

Wow, I was just on Auto Trader.com looking at these for some reason (thanks for putting that idea in my head Biggie! I'm using the Hall H1 as my desktop right now!)
Most of the '04's (I was surprised to find any--they are kinda rare) were going for upwards of $70-$75K. I did find an Alpha with 120K miles on it selling for around $89K, which was cool but wow, they drove the wheels off of it.
I've seen alot of really nice '02's going around your price range. I found a really nice '00 wagon here in town with a brand new engine (75 miles) and lots of claimed upgrades--he has it listed at $62K, but states he knows he won't get that much, but has much more in it than that. Come on, give me a reason to go test drive that H1!

Also, here's my pick for a lower dollar clean looking '02--I'd actually consider picking this one up, the wife and I love the color.

Good luck with the hunt---that's only half the fun!

Yes, I was surprised how much they range in price for the same year. A lot of them had good service records but have a $20k price difference. I like the new listing one on autotrader ( the Black diamond open top) but they want $69k for it. So my search continues..
