Mammoth Cave

Thinking about going to Mammoth Cave in October. I will be leaving around 12pm on a Friday, camping that night and Saturday night. Exploring the cave and just hanging out. If there is anyone that would be interested in going let me know and well set something up. Thanks

You should highly consider the Land Between the Lakes, instead. Its just west of Mammoth Cave...its got some great camping...its got great wheeling (Turkey Bay).

If you do go to Mammoth....you absolutely must stay in a wig-wam....

Been there, done that. The cave is cool (literally and figuratively), but it is a half day visit at the most. However, the Corvette Museum is just down the road. I agree with 4speed, Land between the lakes is a cool place. When I lived south of Nashville, used to go out there a few times a year. Never camped, but plenty to see.
