April 21st thru the 25th 2014

Come early stay late, camp at the Outpost or select your lodging. It's the week after Easter Jeep Safari so come early if you want to see the vendors and craziness of E.J.S. Everyone is welcome, heeps, yotas, rovers, chebys, or whatever else you're rollin in. All skill levels welcome, pet and kid friendly, lots of spotters and a kid with a grease gun :giggle:

alrock's edits:
Moab has lots of lodging options - Motel 6 is usually the top option as it is clean, recently remodeled, accepts pets, affordable and nicer than you'd expect from a Motel 6. Many campgrounds in town for tents, RV/Trailers and cabins. Many other hotel choices as well, but stay away from the Apache - yes, John Wayne stayed there and yes, that's the last time it was remodeled

We start around 9 am each day, meeting at the Outpost, aka Neo's house. Moab's a small town so you're always close by. Please be fueled up, have your sandwich for the day and your camera's batteries topped off.

What do you bring? First timers should bring a good local beer from your area for our host! After that, please make sure your truck is in good working order. (i.e. don't come to Moab with an erratic transmission and expect it to last all week just to have it fail on the first trail. Oh wait, that was me!) UCP and rocker protection are recommended, as are good tires. You should carry the most basic spares for your vehicle, which does vary by vehicle. And you should have the basic tools for those repairs, including any specialty tools for those repairs, like a 36mm socket for the H3 axle shaft. You don't need to bring your entire shop as there are a lot of others to lend a hand and to lend a tool.

Trails will vary from mild to wild and sometimes the group splits up accordingly. Like Neo said, everyone is welcome!

the new school I am at has spring break april 7th-12th...WTF. lol Sounds like I will be missing a week of school next semester. Work shouldnt be an issue, just need to make sure I can arrange things for tests if I have them during that week.

It will be me in squeaky (with new additions like front locker! maybe more, depends what I break from now until april) and my brother is making his first moab trip out in his JK.

Hey all. It's been a while since I've posted on here. As most know I sold my 3T Alpha a couple years ago but haven't given up on off-roading. Put me down for a maybe for next springs run. As long as you all don't mind me wheeling in this:
image_zps128dc6ea.jpg

its a 2012 Super Duty, already put a 6" lift and 37" tires, has a rear locker already and a 271:1 TCase, a 12000LB Winch and some LED lighting. I will be bringing my wife along with me this year so she can experience Moab. We will spend only a couple days with you guys before heading out to explore the entire Rocky Mountain area to see where our next move would be. We are looking at relocating out west somewhere in the next few years and want to start scoping out the area.

Cant wait it to see all my friends again.

Recon & Hans, start making plans to meet up and caravan out to Moab with Trailbreaker in April. This is already shaping up into a "don't want to miss, once-in-a-blue-moon" week of wheeling. Hope you 2 can make it. You too Skippy!

Whoo! With the new job and the dates, I have a week vacation. Will put in for it but, we are suppose to be moving to the new dealership at that time.

I am glad to see so many first timers coming on this trip. 2 years ago was my first trip and you will NOT regret it!

Neo, I can finally buy your beer  I will make sure to bring some. Just let me know what you want and then I will bring TP, garbage bags, and any other misc. stuff.
