Bedtime and early breakfast for the SoCal group. Start back at 7:00AM. Our SoCal first timers, Zach and Chris, did phenomenally well. Looking forward to our John Bull run on Big Bear mountain.

I take it Zach is planning some trips. AWESOME! I wish I could have joined y'all this year but it just isn't in the cards.

We replaced tied rods and ball joints but didn't have a centerlink so no point replacing the idler arm. Pitman was relatively new I believe. Didn't even look at the rear but I would assume the ball joints and radius rods are in about the same shape. Also had Olan chain down his broken motor mount. His truck will be ready to roll in October. Olan did an amazing job driving. Not sure Lance got much seat time.:)

Got back home last night. The truck developed t-case issues at some point during the week and needs to go to the Hummer Day Spa for some TLC

It was a really great week and as usual I am already looking forward to next time

I let him drive some times on the way back home!

wow thats too bad, that must have cut into a lot of trail time

I think it was around 3 days of wheeling out of the 6 or so. Not to bad but next time we will be ready:)

We made it home OK. Rolled into the garage at exactly 1800 hrs tonight. Got caught somewhat in those storms in Nebraska and Iowa. Some heavy rain and some quarter sized hail but no visible dings in truck yet. Will check again after a wash job.
Want to say thankyou again to everyone as we had a wonderfull time. I cant wait till Oct to do it again. Am already planning the needed mods and alterations. I learned a lot about my truck and how tough it really is.
Again, thanks to all. Steve and Jeri

Made it home at 4am via the Nascar races at TMS(Wind sucked!!!) Flashing off from the 10 days of driving and unforgettable wheeling with old friends and some new ones! Thank you Neo and Nav for graciously opening up y'alls home and taking time out of your lives to host and guide us around Moab and its beautiful and challenging trails. Most of us would never experience these on our own and ours lives would be missing something without having done them :) Also special thanks to Alrock for pushing us out of our comfort zone :whaa: and to Neo for getting me up Hell's Gate even though I seemed to be having trouble comprehending his clear and simple spotting...I'll do better next time! Also thanks Alex, Tim and everyone involved with the raffle and dinner.
So many memory's created in such a short time that will have to last till next time...Hopefully not as long as last time..LOL!!! I really enjoyed meeting the first-timers to Moab and seeing the expression on there faces....Priceless...I get why Neo's still enthusiastic about getting out their with us.
I'm gonna get some UC protection built for the SUT and get my ass back out there ASAP so as not to get so rusty....almost 3 years is wayyyyy to long!!! Until next time..Thanks all:thumbs:

Can't wait to hear the stories next weekend!

These guys love to joke around, lots of laughs....being young and a rookie made me an easy target and that I would take it without fighting back much. If they tried to make fun of me enough so I wouldnt come back they failed...miserably :)
