everyone should know that the #1 rule especially in moab is to save weight. Seeing I brought out extra spares and tools I left them in the tent and someone could head back to the outpost in case we needed them. Just because I had a grease gun in my tent doesnt mean I used them for the reasons these sick bastards thought it was for...

Made it back home Sat. afternoon. Wow, that was a long boring drive! Worth every minute of it though. Good to meet some great new wheelers and their better halves AND see the regulars!

It was hard to get up at 5:30 AM to catch the train to work, but glad I have the job that pays for the toys and great trips like Moab!
Till next time...

Wasn't bad as they don't hook up to the tailpipe anymore; they just use the OBDII port. Total time of the test was under five minutes with less than ten minutes of waiting.

Im back at school and wish I was back in Moab! I got a pile of last weeks homework on my desk to make up, and me liking to procrastinate on everything, dosen't help! Thankfully I haven't gotten 1 detention since 2nd grade!

Well first day back in school completed... spent most of my classes looking at the picture thread though , minus the paper i wrote this morning and midterm i had in the afternoon (procrastinating is fun until it comes back to bite you in the @$$ Olan) lol. After our short 6 hr drive through white out conditions at 90 mph (thanks Backcountryislife for making it interesting haha) and waterfall like rains. I wasn't sure i could wake up for my ski race at 6am on sunday. But made it on time and kicked some butt, minus the freezing temp and gusting snow it was fun. I'd like to thank Neo and Nav for their hospitality and letting us stay in your backyard, i felt like tent city had really died that last night. I was the last lone tent, but it was fun none the less. Hopefully next year i can get out for more days, or at least shoot for the beginning of the week rather then the end of the week. Still can't wait for october though, fingers crossed, but looking on get some new mods over the summer to help me out a little more next time around. But thanks guys for everyone who helped me out, It ways great to finally put a face to the screenames and meat so many great people. Also thanks Neo and everyone else who spotted, it really helped proved what my truck was capable of. I'd say its safe to say it exceeded all expectations :woot:.

AJ I have to say I was a little surprised at how well your truck did but I attribute that to the skill of the driver. You drove your truck very well. Even the departure and approach angle issues of the Disco were minimized by how well you drove it.

yea you did a great job driving your rover and it did really good on the trails. An aftermarket rear bumper to help out the departure angles will help you a lot
