The April 2013 dates have been confirmed with Neo! Start booking your trips for Sunday the 31st through Friday the 5th. As always, it is a come and go affair with some people arriving as early as Friday the 29th. Easter Jeep Safari wraps up that first weekend so lodging could be challenging on Friday and Saturday nights. Please note I took off the second Saturday as that is now less often a wheeling day and is more of a travel day for many.

Newbies and non-HUMMERs are welcome to join. It doesn't take a built rig to have fun in Moab, though a little UCP and rocker protection can always provide some peace of mind.

Lodging includes hotels, camping, condos, etc. If you have questions on where to stay read through this thread and/or post up your questions here. There are no "official" lodging arrangements; just come and do your thing.

It's a trip with great wheeling, scenic views and great campfire discussions.

I believe I've asked this before...but I'm forgetful when I don't bookmark something. What is the nearest airport to Moab / potentially somebody willing to facilitate a ride?

grand junction colorado is the closest regional airport , the moab airport flys to denver. if you can get to denver cheaply you can catch the plane to moab, or fly into G.J. and someone can pick you up.

Also a definite maybe (only because I don't have vacation approved and the truck running yet). Given I'm putting everything together this month with the new engine I shouldn't have a reason to break off a glowplug in a crappy motor last second before the trip.

Just do it! You definitly won't regret it! The group of people here, are the most helpful, here and there. We sure did learn a lot in our first trip.

oh I know I won't regret it. but being 23 years old, living on my own, just having bought my truck a month ago brings up some difficulties. Also I work M-F graveyards from 1800-0600 (6pm -6am), getting coverage for my shifts is dificult. I'm not even sure if I am going to be able to get Thanksgiving off or not. so I shall see what I can do.

I have a feeling that all the empty seats will be taken on that run. I usually have one empty seat available. Obviously most of the rigs won't make this run but the more the merrier.

I can even park at the trailhead and walk it if need be. I just wanna watch, you guys are probably the only near stock vehicles that can run that trail.

Matt, it just might be that time, not really sure. It was really painful last week knowing that the group was in Moab and I wasn't. We will have to make up for lost time in April. It's going to be a long winter in the Midwest.
