This is not my picture. It's actually one 4Speed emailed me from one of his adventures with Samis long ago. Still one of the coolest offroad pics I've seen.

A close friend of mine had one of these units in high school, we loved that thing! We took it everywhere, jumped it, snowboarded behind it made a lot of cool memories!

Cool to see one again

We wheeled with some in Cali. Don't remember the trail but one guy plopped his over on it's side. 3 of us just lifted him back on to his tires. Another time at an offroad park North of LA a bunch of guys were running through a water crossing and this Sami with a lift and big offroad tires tried to make the crossing. instead of sinking to the bottom and powering across he floated. Someone had to throw him a rope and pull him in to a place his tires touched the bottom again. Never laughed so hard in my life.

So finally the new Axel came today, did already fix the diff, the seals and their half shaft Axels back in.Waiting for the Diff-cover sealant to dry out ( the Right Stuff ;) ) and then filling the oil in.
To protect the axel better, gave her 2 coats of Hammerit ( like Rustoleum)
Soon , Sami will be on the trails again

My first car was an 87 Samurai, so I have a soft spot for them. I thought they should rebadge the newest one and sell it here as a Hummer H4. put a diesel in it and call it an Alpha 😆
