Their pitching it as a replacement at "low cost" verses the Armys plan of refurbing HMMWV's with a $150,000 cap per unit. It's an interesting truck.

cool, I like the "kneeling" aspect. I am shocked that there is no front winch standard and I guess one downside compared to the H1's is that they do not have portals

That's a good point, it loses it's helicopter lift ability at that weight class. That may be an issue since there is complaints coming in from the field that the mraps are too big/heavy to traverse rough terrain and can't be airlifted by a Chinook...
