Hey everyone, sorry for already being a PITA, but please bear with me. Here's the story...I bought my 2007 H3 Adventure brand new in late 2007. When I saw it on the Hummer lot, I fell in love with it. The dealership had this one specifically built, but I guess no one wanted it. It's completely BLACK (paint, interior, rims, Predator brush guard, grille, racks, lights, door handles, side mirrors, etc. -all done by the dealership). Despite loving it so much, I now want to get an H3T Alpha (I need the power and the bed for my motorcycle) preferably in white. Now I know how rare H3T Alpha's are in general so the paint scheme doesn't really matter (I can always have it painted later on). What I do want is all the black accessories my H3 has, but those parts seem to be even rarer. My question is, should I buy an H3T Alpha, have all the black parts I want from my current H3 swapped for the H3T Alpha's chrome parts, and sell my H3 Adventure with the chrome parts now on it? Or will that give me a less likely chance of selling my H3 Adventure? Also, what's the difference between the Alpha and the Adventure (despite the engine)? Last question, is there anything else I should swap from my Adventure to the Alpha that you guys can think of?

Thank you SO much for all your guys' help and advice. I really appreciate it!

If you want your black stuff you will definitely want to swap it over.

Swap them or plastidip or powder coat the new ones. Welcome to H4O. Lots of people don't mind a little chrome so it shouldn't hurt you when it comes to selling the 07.

Welcome !

In the service, we were taught how to signal with a mirror or similar object to be found when lost.
I keep the chrome on my Solar Flare H3T so I can tell which ones mine in the Walmart lot....:)

Welcome to H4O.
I think you will have more luck selling yours with factory chrome. It will appeal not just for off-roaders but also the mall-roaders. Plus you don't have to deal with your new T

I've never actually seen one on the road before. Folks around these parts look at me in traffic like I just landed my spaceship. Literally had a guy pace me on the highway last week, doing 75 mph, apparently set his cruise control and climb into his passenger seat, so he could hold his phone out the window to take a picture of us. Scared to hell the guy was gonna "Join" me in my lane...

Wife had a guy at the feed store ask "So, what are those, around $100,000?" She just smiled and said "Should be"....

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your answers. Is there anything else I should take off my H3Adventure that an H3T Alpha doesn't have?
Pics to come soon (I'm on vacation currently).

Check to see if your H3 has the under carriage protection and, if so, move that over. And, if necessary (and you have it) take the little tray inside the armrest.
