Picked up some sliders!

I just picked up a set of OE H2 sliders for $50. They are in pristine condition. I have been wanting to get an extra set for awhile. I have been wanting to modify mine so they slide better, instead of getting hung up on pointy rocks. I also want to make the stick out a little further, too. I kind of wanted an extra set in case I ruin them or something. And for $50, why not? They even came with the bolts!

Funny thing is, he has listed the three times before for $95, and I have sent him multiple emails every time with no response. Guess I'm glad he never replied! Saved me $45!

I did the same thing about a year ago. I picked up an extra set of like new condition OE rock rails. Interested in what you come up with, because one day I'll get around to modding mine. I hate how the frame mounts/supports get hung up or bent on rocks. I added some spacers a couple of years ago to set the rails a little further out, not the best long term solution but they do the trick for now. It also made it much easier to take the LE steps on an off without having to drop the rails, but I don't use the LE steps any more, my wife and kids rather the U-steps.

You H2's owners have it so hard :giggle:. First you get a set of them from the factory and then you find them on CL all the time for $100 :shame:

That is exactly my issue with them. They are supposed to be rock "sliders", but unless you are right on the round bar you just have a series of cross bars to get hung up on. This video shows this well. At about 2:00 I am going over a rock that is slightly peaked, and it gets right between a couple of the cross bars.
