Popping in 4 high lock

Here is my question, when in 4 high lock and going into reverse I hear a loud pop from the rear then nothing afterwards. Then shifting to drive and I give it more than normal throttle another pop from the rear. After that everything is fine, no vibrations. Transfer case is less than 1.5 years old changed to the metal shift fork. Any ideas what I'm hearing as im stumped and cannot find anything out of place or loose

Remove the rear diff cover and inspect for damage.

Did that, ran backlash, checked spider gears, bearings, there is no issue in the rear end. I may have found it.........I'm currently working on the Hummer now; I will post what is found and if it corrects the issue.

Found the issue, jacked up the back of the H2, and there is a bracket FTS gives you with the lift the raises the panhard bar so it is in the proper geometry. The two bolts holding this bracket were loose and under the weight of the H2 you could not notice this. Removed the 2 bolts, replaced with new ones, resucred and ran a weld bead. No more popping in the rear.
