Anyone use them ?
I have a 06 H3 with the I5 , and want to pull my 17' Ranger boat. Kinda concerned about it doing that.
The guy I bought it from said it would have no problem doing so with the 4500lb towing rating. After driving it for a few weeks I have my doubts.
Any input will be Greatly Appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

I would skip the spacer, they do not do anything unfortunately (except lighten your wallet). We offer full tuning for the H3's, both engine and transmission (if automatic). At $199 it's a really good bang for the buck - not only does it pick up hp (10-14hp on I5, 15-20hp on V8) and MPG (usually 1-2mpg) but it really helps with the overall driveability - how responsive it is, etc. I may be a bit biased :emb: but it's definitely one of the best mods you can do in my opinion!

Would also like to bump up the mpg. I know the H3 is not known for the greatest fuel milage. Ran 2 tanks through and getting 13-13.5 mpg. That's with a light foot also.
I guy I work with gets 15+ in his with only a K&N air filter.
Unknown what the difference is.

I know the K&N filter helped me out some, plus its lifetime guaranteed

+1 on the pcm tune. I just got mine back. Haven't had it in long enough for real mpg comparisons but the truck is running pretty darn good. I added 35s at the sam time and it runs/accelerates as good or better than it did before. If you're not putting a huge drain on the truck (like 35s) you should see some significant gains with the tune. That means it'll offset the strain on the truck created by towing.

The tune is super reasonable. I paid $215 and that included return shipping. There's several options for you to get a tuned pcm outlined on their site. Read through the site and they are great about answering questions. Or you can always ask the H4O crowd. There's been a few threads on it so try searching "pcm tune".

The PCM tune would certainly make a difference but you shouldn't have a problem towing that boat, I pull a 2000lb pop-up camper plus gear and the family without much problem. Just don't pull in OD and don't expect it to accellerate like somthing it's not, give yourself plenty of stopping room too.

And don't try to pull that pop up threw the mountains.

Been there done that. I have pulled about 3500 to 4000 trailer a few times. It will pull it but avoid the big hills.

I can vouch for the PCM tune and towing. Definitely worth the money. I'm running 35s, leveled and do a heck of a lot of driving around New Mexico and I consistently average 15.5-16 mpg.

Yeah, the area we like to go is hilly (big but not mountains). Some of the hills can bea couple miles long with a fai grade and she works pretty hard to maintain 55mph and the magnaflo really "hums" but once your'e over the hump it's all good.
