Quick rebound from carnage, and back on the trail.

Recently had a bad surprise while pulling a loaded trailer. The rear drivers wheel decided that it was not wanting to play along anymore. Fortunately, I was about to stop for gas and was able to coast onto a level concrete surface, under cover and lighted. Patience was tested, but GOD looks out for fools, and I can't tell you how many blessings I cashed in that night. But after 2 sheered lug bolts, 4 twisted and stripped and having to replace them 2x... (yes, the part number GM has for the rear lug bolts are a 1/2" too short. Front ones work.) Did I mention that these are new wheels and tires?
Anyway, I was able to get her back on the road and traversed a section of the Tennessee Trans American Trail this weekend. All worked out good.

Agreed, so glad it was in town, and not in the middle of nowhere or at highway speeds. And that the hub stayed inside the wheel and it didn't go bounding into oncoming traffic.
