Radio for my 97 Wagon.

I have a Clarion POS that is in my ride now. It sounds absolutely terrible. The face has buttons that work sometimes. What radio would you put in your H1? I just want a good looking radio that sounds good and works. I want to try and keep it looking as OEM as possible.

What radio do you all have in your H1, and what cables/hardware would I need to make it fit? I have the 6 cd changer up above but It doesn't need to work with the radio. I'll probably do something else with it.

Speakers? Did you keep it Clarion or Bose? Are they direct replacement?

Lets pretend money is a problem.... I'm thinking around the $400-$500 max. Also dont need a built in GPS. A iPod input would be nice. CD, FM, That pretty much is my speed. Speakers? I dont know if the Clarions are the best. That crappy sound may be from them. If so, what is a good direct replacement?

My 2002 H1 has an Alpine, I don't have the model handy right now, but that's what was in it. I just replaced it with the same thing. The only difference was the new one had mp3 player connection and DVD player. I think I paid about 6 hundred something.

I don't listen to the radio in the '97, it's too loud in there anyways.

I listen to the radio but with the noise of the truck you aren't going to get high fidelity anyway.
