Radio Location Ideas

I currently have a two-way and CB radio mounted in my H2. The CB is mounted to the driver's side of the "transmission tunnel" and the two-way is mounted above the center vents on top of the dash.

The two-way drives me crazy as it causes the dash to rattle. I've been looking around the interior the last couple days while stuck in traffic on my way home from work and have been stumped as to a better location to mount the radios. What have you done with yours?

Maybe put it on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel?

Or, if your two-way radio can detach it's display and controls maybe you can install the radio itself someplace remote like under a seat and have the control head placed where it is convenient?

Just out of geeky curiosity: What kind of radio is your two-way? VHF / UHF? HAM? MURS? FRS?

Won't fit on the passenger side due to glovebox clearance. Display / controls are not detachable, no space under seats anyway. The H2 interior is the epitome of 10 lbs of **** in a 5 lb bag.

Radio is VHF / UHF, members of our local club run them (no skip / chatter like on a CB).
