H3 Rear bump-stop replacement...

While doing my rear diff fluid changeout last weekend I noticed that I'm missing one of my rear bump-stops. After doing a quick search on the internet I couldn't find anyone selling them. I did find a thread started by Tomp from years ago, but he didn't state what he ended up doing. If possible I'd like to avoid going to the dealer. Does Energy or Daystar make something that would work that isn't listed specifically for the H3? :huh:

Do you mean item 9?

If so, it is called an auxiliary spring and costs $20.58 from GM Parts Direct.

Have never seen any aftermarket ones for sale. But there could be!

The part number is 15295277 and it list for $34 and some change. You can get it from your local GM dealer or an online GM parts dealers suchs as GM Parts Direct, Hummer Parts Online and GM Parts House. Brodie aka the Broken might be able to help you out also.

Timbren makes an aftermarket bump stops for the H3 but they are designed for towing and hauling.
