I didn't know where to post this so I did it here. Once Reloader spill the beans you may want to move it to another forum area.

Reloader, I just saw some angled views of your rig at Cliffs and the first thing I noticed was your OUTSTANDING BA bumper mods. Great look with the 2 larger center bars and light mount cross bar!

Please, Please, Please if you wouldn't mind tell us the who, what and how behind the BA mods and some close up pix and/or build pix would be outstanding!!! :corn:

I posted an explanation in my fresh meat thread but I`ll be glad to repeat it here. The BA bumper I bought from the Thor guy south of Indianapolis. I put it on and thought
how weak the stock grill guard and mounting system was. Time to modify. The uprights are 2 x 3 inch square tubing and the pipes are 2 inch schedule 10 seamless tubing.
Weld in bends are used for the corners. the whole thing is mig welded together and all welds ground smooth. Light tabs and antenna mount are welded in place.
The winch is a Smittybuilt XRC 10 . Its a cheap one but it has worked well so far for the $400 I paid for it.
The rock sliders are made from the same tubing. Two lengths per side with 2 inch heavy wall square tubing and 10.8 metric flange bolts that fasten it to the frame.
The can and shovel carrier are home made also. All work was done at my brothers fab shop at his company, Big Sky Engineering in Verona WI.
Every thing is painted with good old Valspar Armor paint from Farm and Barn cause its cheap. Eventually I`ll sandblast it all clean and have it powder coated or we will spray
it with the box liner plastic as my brother builds that equipment. That stuff is really tuff and can be applied smooth as glass.
sorry no pics yet as the hummer is still covered with Cliffs mud. The best pics are already posted.
Here`s a pic of a bumper I built from scratch for my son`s Exterra. we threw this together over a weekend a month ago.

Great work on the bumper Reloader.

Can you post some close up pictures of the shovel and gas can holder. I really like that setup.
Well gang , here are some pics of the H3. Hope they work.

And are those reflectors or added taillights in the lower trim?

Reloader, thanks for the info on the bumper! Looks great, hope it's OK if I "borrow" some of the styling cues with the 2x3 tubing.

Ok, I finally got the truck cleaned up sort of presentable. That Cliff`s mud is something else to clean up. I spent $27 at a self serve car wash and didn`t come close to clean. Last night after work I put the H3 on the hoist and blasted away for damn near 2 hours. That mud stains everything. Removed belly pans and skid plates to clean it out. I got soaked with muddy slop. I ended up having to hand wash to get the body and underhood clean.
Here are some closups of the bumper/grill guard assembly.

Here are some closeup pics of the can/shovel rack. The shovel has a small hook welded to its back to hang onto the mount it sits in. The bungee wraps around to hold it in place. A top clamp holds the can in place and the bolt/knob assembly holds the whole works into the receiver plate held in place by the spare. Feel free to copy and make any improvements. I`m thinking of moving the shovel to the Gobi rack opposite side from the jack mount. Also a couple pics of my homemade sliders. Don`t look at the rust.
