Pretty sure this has been discussed but, oh well it's kinda slow in here anyway.:) So, where are y'all running your wires from the Roof to the interior? While we're at it how about the CB ant. cable? Thanks in advance!

Ours came with a light rack OEM ready on the roof, with the wiring already run, it went down right below the drivers side roof marker light.

I can't tell you about wiring on a roof rack but I ran my VHF radio cable through the rear hatch and the head liner found ample room for the coax cable and it tucked away nicely.

power/ grounds down the outside of each a pillar. you can sneak them through teh marker lamp on the side and than down under the plastic a pillar cover. you would run ALL drsd wires down teh drsd pillar and all pssd light wires down teh pssd A pillar. tape them off all teh way down or they will rattle on teh hwy. the cb cable and switch wires you can bring in through the marker lamp. there is a rubber plug in there. pull it and cut around around it . Make sure to seal it back up with mastic tape (sp) and than rtv over that.

Since that rack is wired front to rear, all you have to do is attach your lights in the rear to those two wires and they are already ran through the rack to the front.

I prefer Hella switches for mounting inside the cab. they look close to factory and are flush mount.

...hope that helps som. You can always give me a call to go through it more.

:agree: What he said. Lots of space for wires under those A pillar covers. As for getting inside the cab, there is a large rubber grommet in the driver's side of the firewall where the main wiring harness goes through. You can fish a coat hanger through it and tape your wires to it, then pull them through. It is tight, but you can do it. It helps to use a little liquid soap to make slippery.

I have a huge bundle of wires which run under the corner marker trim down the pillar on the exterior, under the cowl, into the engine compartment. Then signal wires from the switches run from the interior to the engine compartment to turn the relays on and off.
