wow that really sucks! i bet they were trying out launch control and lost it!

Have heard with the GTR's there are switches turn off traction which is impressive and it should have stuck to the ground if it was on. Apparently it was off. There goes a brand new $110k car. Oh and brings back memories.

Dare devil? Nope. Dumbass. Parked my 2 in the same spot next day. Not worried about it. The guys in the GTR dodged one as I look at it.

Not that it has any consequence in this case, but the right combination of those buttons on the dash (i.e. engaging launch control) will instantly void the warranty on a new GT-R. Fun fact for the day. It records it in the computer and next time you're in for service, they void everything.

yea its a real kill joy, they tout that there gtr can do these incredible launches but if you do you void your warranty. its kind of like a contradiction.

I don't think so. Warranty can't be void if launch control is turned on.

ive read multiple things about how nissan is voiding the warranty on gtrs with there vdc turned off, have to turn vdc off to turn on launch control, i read a post awhile ago on jalopnik about an owner who used launch control on his gtr and the transmission went out and he took it into service and they read the computer and saw that there were to many times where he turned off the vdc and used launch control. ill see if i can dig up the post on jalopnik.
