Twheel for offroad use?

SO, there are allot of research going on about reinventing a wheel. I've seen several different version and so far the honeycomb contraction design is ahead and seems to get more and more interest. The call it a "Twheel".
Even do it is an interesting idea, the question is can it really fin use in off-roading? One thing is if you will get in to mud on this, your twheel will mode of a problem than anything else. What are your thoughts?

I have seen articles on this type of tire but never actually seen one in use. Don't even know if anyone actually sells one. Given that we tear chunks out of tires on rocks and ledges I am not sure how these would hold up to certain types of use.

You can get them for skidsteers and small loaders.. apparently the street production version will have a sidewall like a normal car tire... I'm guessing they are showing it without sidewalls to demonstrate the technology...

Will be interesting if they ever make it into general production for cars and light trucks.
