It is expected to rain again tomorrow in LA, and need to fix this fast.

Water, quite a bit, was found on the speaker cover in the cargo area of the driver's side. Saw no evidence of water on the headliner.

Could not find a source of where this water is coming from.

Pulled the back seats up and the rug is wet as well. So getting that wonderful moldy smell in the car now.

Last time this happened, years ago, the stealership fixed it, so clueless how I can go about fixing this asap.

Looked around, but unsure on what steps to take.

Please advise.

Thanks!

I have water that comes in through mine on the passenger side similar area.

Check the bolts that hold that track to the roof, they leak sometimes. I have one that is stripped out and leaks when there is a lot of water present. It runs down the inside of the window and down onto the storage compartment door.

If they aren't stripped out, there have been a few instances where crack in the roof were developed by heavy loads on roof racks, only way to see that is to take the roof rail and the plastic trim off to see if its cracked or where things are coming from.

The Sunroof have 4 drain pipes, two on the front (the typical that needs to be repaired from time to time on the H3, and two in the back, in the same location that rear seat belts on the pillars.
Remove the plastic fron the cargo area window in each lateral, and the upper connection point of the rear seat belts. Remove the plastic and you will see the pipe for the drain roof inside that metallic pillars. Be sure those connection are free of dirt and well connected to fender..

Another point is what cgalpha08 said!

Hope this help you out!

Get some of these and they will help with the odor. My H2 still leaks if we get heavy rain.

cgalpha is dead on. That's where I have a leak too, though mine's small, it doesn't rain in AZ and if it gets wet inside the dry desert air takes care of it in a few minutes.

I got water in mine for the first time since I had it figured the grommet had been drilled already. Pipe/line wasnt hooked to the grommet maybe fell out or ice froze it off since it 50 to 20's lately. 1 1/4 inch of ice on the mat plus frozen carpet. Was like 40 out had a airmover carpet drier on it for 2 days durning the daylight. Didnt put a dent in it as far as damp/wetness. Might need a road trip to drier climate
