Weird Looking Bolts.

The bolts that hold the door hinges on my 97 H1 have a weird looking head. (I can hear the jokes already). Is there a special socket needed to take them out? Will a regular socket work?
Are they normally painted the color of the body?

I have seen them black and seen them painted. I think they came from the factory black.

Yes they are easy to take out and put back in- I think you need a small 12 point socket or something a long thos lines. You also can adjust the doors with those bolts, and some people take the doors off and put offroad doors on.

Im sure ( hummerpartsguy.com , bluehummer.com ) could help you find the bolts you need.
