I've noticed recently that most other Hummer brothers don't wave. I'm not asking to do all the stupid sh*t jeep people do, but when you're sitting right next to me at a stoplight in your hummer and then scoff at me when I'm just saying wasup, wtf? am I asking for too much?

There has been I think a few posts on this subject redskinsfan, but like I have said before, I will still try to acknowledge a fellow Hummer driver even if they don't respond, maybe they just don't know till they hopefully catch on... So I'm not giving up on others!

It's tough around here as most window are tinted pretty dark and it can be hard to see the driver. I know other drivers have a very hard time seeing me because of the tint, even from the front, as the inside is pretty dark.

Some wave. I notice most aren't even looking when I wave. Lots of owners don't look for other Hummers like I do. H1 owners tend to wave more.

I also get ignored unless the other hummer is obviously outfitted for actual wheeling. Then, they understand. I think that for every run of the mill daily driver, it's just that, a daily driver. Not a special vehicle as I feel about my H3. So they just don't care.

I give anyone a way who looks like they wheel, Jeep, Toyota, Hummer, Etc. I also pretty much all other Hummer owners a wave, wether they look like they wheel or not, but truth is, most don't and like 3Hummers said most don't look for other Hummers the way we do. I don't loose any sleep over it. I really don't give a crap if someone waves back or not.

My Jeep buddy and I have a laugh every time we're in his Jeep, all the Jeep'r guys wave, it's some gay code you have to agree to when you buy a Jeep.
But when we rode in the duece I taught him that HUMMER guys don't do that gay crap, we wrinkle our noses and turn them up as we turn our head away; that's the HUMMER wave!

I have noticed way too many H2 owners seem to be stunned and not paying attention to anything going on around them----especially the women, they're the worst

Frogger? Heck, I'll wave at him. Not that he'll recognize me now that I'm in a black H2 instead of the white H3T...

I've only been waved at once and had lights flashed once to say hello. When I had my 06 GTO I'd be sitting at a red light and another GTO would pull up....windows would roll down and a conversation would start up. H2's though I think are predominantly people who just don't care unless you wheel and it looks offroad then it's a whole different story.

When I owned my 06 tj I got tired of the waving crap....lol!
I choose to just smile are everyone instead. I don't really care who it is I just smile. Politeness is just so much easier.

I was driving home last night from a store, 2 guys in a little car passed me and the passenger leaned and and yelled, "NICE HUMMER!!" Gave them a little thank you flash and made my turn.

That's what I use to get/do especially back when i first bought my H2 (2002)...but I never knew to wave at another hummer. This is new to me. In all these years , I cant say Ive had another Hummer wave to me... then again, Ive never really looked either. MY BAD... i'll be more mindful (for the short remainder of my ownership).

H1s tend to wave at each other more than the other models. Most of the time the other drivers don't seem to be looking.

I live in the mountains of New Mexico now, and people wave on the back roads as a rule to everybody else, no matter what you're driving (except the Jeep guys, they never wave at the H2). We moved there from rural southern Miss, and people generally waved there, too. But I've waved at just about every H I've seen and can't recall getting a wave or a flash. No big.

Was in Clearwater week before last and had a copper 2 pull up behind me. He eventually got beside me at a light to turn, and I put the window down and told him he had my favorite color 2. He was friendly but I could tell it surprised him.

On the wheeling thing, don't be to quick to snub us 'standards'. I just don't have a lift or bigass wheels or 50 million watts of lights, but we live up a canyon road that I wouldn't have any other vehicle for. This thing is just a friggin beast, both the '04 and the '08. I will build the front end on both if I can ever get the down time, but that's about it. Too much muds and rocks where we live to gussie them up too much.

I don't wave because I'm in my most comfortable slippers and easy chair. I mean really, you sound like my wife "why don't you say hi to me when I get home"... because I'm comfortable and to raise a finger is just too much damn work.
and get off my lawn.

It's where you live, I moved to Northen Virginia 10years ago and people are just not as friendly I have learned. The closer you are to DC the more a$$holes people are. Sorry if I was one of the hummer owners that you have seen and didn't acknowledge you.
